One brand, three universes
Futello is the umbrella brand: “Choose smarter. Enjoy more.” The site published today covers the Cards universe (Canadian credit card comparison, strategies and welcome offers). The Points (rewards programs) and Travel universes come next, under the same brand and with the same method.
What Futello does
Futello compares credit cards offered in Canada against a spending scenario: yours, if you answer the questionnaire, or a published reference scenario for each profile and each usage. For every scenario the calculation applies each card’s earning rates, caps, annual fee, provincial eligibility and, when confirmed, its welcome offer. The result is a strategy: a single card or a combination of cards, with the estimated net value and how to split your spending.
The methodology describes every step of the calculation, what is measured and what is not.
What Futello does not do
- Futello gives no financial, tax or legal advice. Results are estimates that depend on declared and published data.
- Futello sells no card and processes no application: applying always happens on the issuer’s site, under its terms.
- Futello never connects to your bank accounts and requires no account creation.
- Futello promises neither approval nor rates: the geographic eligibility shown never guarantees that an application is accepted.
Where the data comes from
Card characteristics (rates, caps, fees, insurance, benefits, welcome offers) come from the issuers’ official pages, collected and verified regularly. Every card page shows its verification date and distinguishes a confirmed fact from an undocumented one: missing information is never replaced by an assumption. Card images are the official visuals published by issuers.
